Spanish Food buying made easy
The United States´ sanitary authorities have given the green light to the import
of hams and other products obtained from Iberian pigs slaughtered in Spain.
Until now, only a small number of Spanish companies exported hams, “chorizos”
and “lomos” to the United States, although all pigs were slaughtered in other
European countries, such as Denmark, that did satisfy the United States sanitary
requirements. This decision opens the door to all kinds of pork cured products
produced in the South West of Spain. |
